Training and Documentation

Training

Training for those new to C‑PORT can be provided by experienced facilitators via a set of ten modules. The modules cover the essential components of C‑PORT and are delivered over three, half-day sessions. All modules have a set of learning objectives and are supported by a pack of training materials.

User Guide and Facilitator Guide

The “User Guide” is the main reference document for C‑PORT and can, by itself, teach how to use the tool. However, it is much easier to learn about C‑PORT and how to implement it at your centre with the guidance of a facilitator; the “Facilitator Guide” explains the implementation process.

Quick Help Guides

Let’s be honest, User Guides aren’t documents that many people read from cover to cover! To make life easy for the C‑PORT user, the “Quick Help Guides” are one-page documents that summarise important topics including “Collecting baseline data”, “Running a simulation”, “Interpreting the data”, “Modelling a change” and many others.

“Here’s How I...”

These documents are mini case studies that illustrate how users have completed specific tasks – all summarised in a two-page format. The 16 documents include such topics as, “Here’s How I Managed C‑PORT Implementation”, “Here’s How I Planned a New Chemotherapy Facility” and “Here’s How I Planned To Treat More Patients”.
